Crandall Real Estate

Crandall sits at the intersection of U.S. Highway 175 and Farm Roads 148 and 3039, nine miles west of Kaufman in Kaufman County. In 1880, The Texas Trunk Line Railway needed to run rail line through Reverend C.F. Crandall's land. He graciously agreed to grant right of way and got a town named for him out of the deal. Crandall quickly became a shipping point for area farmers, and the town grew. Crandall is still growing. Over 3,000 people currently call Crandall home, and the economy is still dominated by agriculture.

Crandall has another economic engine. It is the smallest Texas town with its own municipally owned golf course. And Creekview Golf Club is a serious course offering 7,238 yards from the tips, bent-grass greens and plenty of trees, water and sand. Now, golf clubs are a common sight in flat bed trucks! The local high school has even hired 2 full-time golf coaches.

The Crandall Independent School District serves the area children and is a "recognized" district by the Texas Education Agency. The district has one elementary, one middle, one intermediate and one high school, home to the Crandall Pirates.

New homes are springing up like daisies in every price range and style. Ranch homes make the most sense in this community, low and sprawling. Luxury homes are not hard to find.
